Every year we try to fit in a camping trip with our good friends the Temple family and Shelly and Innis and their boys. We fondly refer to it as Tumple Camping. We even have a squirrel from Blomidon Provincial Park as our mascot. The kids look forward to it as much as the adults and with 9 kids combined under the age of 10, that's saying something! Unfortunately this year's trip planned for Smiley's campground in Windsor, had to be put off due to heavy rains, but we managed to salvage all the fun and memories by having everyone go to the Bembridge's cottage on Piggott Lake. What a great time and the sun even poked out on Sunday.
Although we weren't able to do the campfire time (Innis did manage to get a fire going for short while before the heavens opened up again) and tent stuff, we still had some great time together as friends...and stayed much drier.
