Soggy summer kick off

We enjoyed a street party, albeit a soggy one, on the last day of school. Things have been going non-stop since then, and the sog factor hasn't dissipated yet. Rain, rain go away!

What a difference ten years + makes....

Look at little Findlay with those big cousins. He loved seeing the big boys on Canada Day, and while they were all weary from working and life in general, they got off the couch to play with Finn. Thank goodness.

It's hard to imagine that he'll be their size in ten years (and a lot of groceries later!)

Grilling in spite of the weather

The summer weather hasn't arrived in spite of our efforts to will it here. We had a fabulous bbq the other day and Shelly insisted that I post these pics for the blog. It's not often that cooking a meal is blog-worthy, but these chickens were exceptional
