Family portrait

We recently had some great portraits done, but this one certainly captures the moment. Finn was exhausted as it was late at night and Olivia and Meredith were just spun on Christmas spirit.

How to bottle that energy....

From Rockmanor Files

Alternate Hairstyle

While caring for Molly we had fun with hairstyles. Her pigtails are showcased on her blog, but I've got the butterfly clips shot (there's also a single ponytail in the back!)

9th birthday

The cake I did for Olivia's 9th. Posted by Picasa

9th Birthday

The cake with bowling ball and pin was Olivia's idea, since for her 9th she's doing a bowling party. The butterfly is what I came up with from all the cut up bits of cake leftover from the bowling ball and pin.

It's not the most beautiful butterfly, but I'm pretty impressed considering what I was working with! It'll taste good and for a child that refuses to eat store-bought cake, that's what counts!

I'll post more photos of the 9 year old soon. Posted by Picasa

Christmas Kitty

Axel's new collar. Definitely cuter than Rudolph. Posted by Picasa

Deck the Halls...

Enjoyed a rare evening with my mother and sisters (Janette is next to Mom, Wendy took the photo) to trim Mom's tree. If only we all had trees that stayed down in the basement with lights already on them, it would be so easy then! Posted by Picasa

Kitty likes hot wheels...

Caught the cute kitty playing with Finn's hot wheels car. Boys will be boys. Posted by Picasa

Snow...finally!

The kids were thrilled to have some snow, but the grownups weren't so keen. It caused havoc with traffic....but the kids couldn't have been happier! Posted by Picasa
